Fancy baking up a storm with our Blueberry Protein Doughnuts recipe?! 🫐🍩
This delicious recipe gets you 12 doughnuts and takes just 30 minutes to make!
👉🏻Ingredients:
180g all-purpose flour
45g Natural Nutrients vanilla whey protein powder
1 tsp. baking soda
75g fresh blueberries
100g coconut sugar, packed
4 tbsp. maple syrup
150g mashed blueberries
2 large eggs
125ml unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp. coconut oil, melted
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and spray a doughnut pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
- In a large bowl, whisk coconut sugar and maple syrup. Add mashed blueberries, eggs, and almond milk. Stir until well combined.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Add melted coconut oil and stir again until fully incorporated.
- Fill each doughnut mould generously.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Do not leave in the pan too long, as they will continue to bake and may become dry.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
