Case studies look very different for me now than they did a few years ago.

I’ve been blown away by the interest in this round of case study spaces.
It’s also reminded me how much my work has evolved.

These case studies aren’t about learning new techniques from scratch, the practical techniques are already being used in my current treatments.
They’re about refining the structure behind the work, strengthening the assessment, treatment planning and clinical documentation while supporting real, measurable progress.

And while this round focused on more complex cases, the heart of my work hasn’t changed. Whether you book in for remedial support or restorative holistic treatment, the intention is always thoughtful, personalised care.

I’ll be opening for the final intake later in the year.

Are you living with daily tension, pain, or restriction that’s just become your “normal”?

It doesn’t have to be.

I’m currently training in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy (ACMT) which combines remedial and relaxation techniques to ease pain, improve movement, and support long-term recovery.

I’m opening the next round of case study spaces for people ready to work through:

- Lower back pain & stiffness
- Neck tension & headaches
- Shoulder restriction & pain
- Arm & wrist issues (examples inlude tennis or golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome)
- Leg knee, ankle & foot issues (such as Plantar fasciitis, IT band or Achilles pain)

These are just examples, this list is endless!

Each case study includes 3 or 6 structured treatments to track progress properly, this isn’t a one-off quick fix.

If this sounds like you (or someone you know) send me a message and I’ll share the details 🌿

As ever, remember that evening & weekend availability is limited.

When I started my advanced case studies, I didn’t expect to notice such a clear pattern.

Out of 12 people in the first group, presentations have included persistent headaches, frozen shoulder, chronic lower back pain and arthritis.

Different diagnoses, but similar experiences:
- Pain lingering longer than it should
- Movement becoming protective
- People feeling tired of working around their body

What’s stood out most is that progress hasn’t come from doing more, but from understanding more. The approach includes a detailed consultation, movement testing, and a structured plan for in between sessions.

Advanced case study work allows me to take a more considered, in-depth approach to ongoing musculoskeletal issues.

I’ll be opening a small number of additional case study places in March. If you’d like more information, feel free to message me and I'll be sharing more details over the coming days.

When I started out in massage therapy, I used to think everyone just wanted deeper pressure.

Over time I’ve learned it’s rarely that simple and that most bodies are just carrying more than they’ve had space to process.

Many of the people who come to see me have already tried different treatments and still find the same tension keeps returning.

My approach tends to suit people whose discomfort hasn’t come from one single cause, but from patterns that have built up over time and sessions are guided by consultation, adapting as your body responds, rather than following a fixed routine.

If you’ve found yourself thinking “I’ve tried everything... why isn’t this shifting?” this kind of responsive bodywork may feel more supportive to you.
Drop me a message if you want to know how I can help you.

When pain or tension has been around for a while, it rarely responds to a single session alone.

Change tends to happen when the body feels safe enough to let go, which takes time, consistency and an approach that adapts as things shift.

This is why I work in a responsive way, guided by consultation and what your body is showing on the day, rather than following a fixed routine.

Over time, sessions become less about “fixing” and more about supporting how your body adapts, responds, and finds ease again.

You might not feel stressed, but your body might be telling a different story.

Ongoing tension, poor sleep and low energy can all be signs that the nervous system isn't settled

At Renew Therapies, reflexology and massage sessions are designed to support rest and regulation in a calm, unrushed environment.

This week I’ve been away in Brighton for a few days, training as part of my ongoing advanced massage studies.

It’s been a full few days, in the best way possible!

I’ve absolutely loved it, spending time with others in a similar place to me, sharing experiences and continuing to build on my skill set.

Training that continues to shape how I work with pain and tension.

The more I learn, the more I’m reminded that effective bodywork isn’t about doing more. It’s about listening better and recognising patterns.

Every course I take feeds back into how I pace sessions, adapt techniques, and support people with recurring issues.
