Three Years Running!!!

Once my trainee asked me " In 10 years time when you would have achieved the majority of your professional and financial goals. How would you make sure you don't get bored of what you are doing?

It was a rather unusual question, but a very curious one. I didn't have an answer straight away so I thought about it overnight and the next day I answered him " I probably will not get bored in many years to come if I can derive pleasure from my patients' happiness".

Thank you to all my patients for their constant feedback, which helps me go further. I would also like to thank all the theatre and hospital colleagues for keeping the positive environment around.🙂

We are looking for people to help us as Marshalls to run our new vaccination centre at West Derby Medical Centre, 3 Winterburn Crescent, L12 8TQ

You will have a pleasant manner and be able to direct and observe patients. £8.72 per hour. 4 hour shifts, 8-12, 12-4 and 4-8. We particularly need you if you can help 4pm -8pm this week, though there will also be earlier shifts.

Thanks to a significant legacy received last year, the hospital has been able to invest in cutting edge technology to enable surgeons to carry out spinal surgery via minimally invasive key hole procedure - a technique only practised in a handful of centres across the world.
