Thats work. Becoming a late developing, low key adventurer.

Osteopathy - the foundations

Trained as an Osteopath with College of Osteopaths - Borehamwood. Studied cranial techniques and visceral techniques in my final year. Have completed two modules (2/3 and balanced ligamentous tension) with Sutherland Cranial college, starting their paediatric diploma in 2017! Skilled in treating pregnant women and women wanting to get pregnant, to develop good postural habits to enable them to continue to work safely and with minimal pain and discomfort. Taken several courses in Paediatrics and Obstetrics, with Giles Cleghorn and Steven Sandler, renowned specialist among osteopaths. Off to annual conference to hear his latest stuff in November this year. Acupuncture - adapting with your body

A member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society after qualifying from a dry needling course. Completed the MBSR, 8 week Mindfulness course in stress reduction. A year of meditation before I can do further training but already reading how Mindfulness can help manage chronic pain and stress...watch this space. My daily journal records each experience of the meditation journey I'm now travelling on. Playtime involves relaxing the mind by spinning and weaving and trying other crafts. Not so relaxing is the sports on two wheels; motorbikes and mountain bikes. In July 2015 I took on my first bike skulls course in Whistler, Canada.

Have you heard of Breast Feeding Aversion ?

This is when mum wants to breast/chest feed but when baby/ nursling latches she wants to push her child off, has feelings of irritation, skin ‘crawls’, because of the contact and the nurslings need for your body and your time.

Breast/chest feeding does continue but theses feelings and thoughts persist. The resulting experience is very mixed.

Such an amazing experience. Thank you to Holly and Angela at , The Boulevard, Leeds Dock. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Six weeks since surgery and I have done my first (gentle) yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️ session at home.
After a few weeks of frustrations I feel calm and back in touch with my body.

Looking forward to being back in clinic next week ❤️.
