Aktiv Life

Aktiv Life If you’re looking to lose weight, get fit, tone up or be better at your sport… you’ve come to the right place! My name is Terry Samuels or Mr T to many.

I have worked in the sports industry for almost 30 years and health and fitness is a passion of mine. I firmly believe we can all achieve our goals with the right information, direction, motivation, training and effort. I began my sporting life as an Athlete in Wolverhampton competing at club and county level, at the same time coaching various athletic disciplines and sports in the local community. It was at this point I realised I could turn my passion into a career in helping others improve their fitness and reach their sporting potential and so founded Aktiv Personal Training a personal and unique service to bring you the best possible results in a friendly and fun way with no pressure from me! In June of 2016 Aktiv Personal Training became 'Aktiv life'. The business has gone through changes which include group fitness, corporate wellness, stroke rehabilitation, fitness retreats and presentations on health and wellbeing. As such, we felt the name should reflect our transition to covering various aspects of lifestyle change and not solely on personal training. I have undertaken many courses including Business and Sport at MMU, Body Pump training, Stroke rehabilitation and strength and conditioning for football, as well as research into areas of health and fitness which include weight loss, boxing and golf. Available in Chester, Cheshire, Alderley Edge, North Wales and surrounding areas. Feel free to contact me even if it's just for a chat about how I could help you!

Dear all.

Sorry about the generic text/facebook message (depending on how you receive this) but, it's the best way for me to contact you all.

I've spoken to as many of you as possible face to face or in class but wanted to to fill you all in on the situation as soon as possible!

As many of you know, I have a new job doing residential security/bodyguard for a client in Cheshire and will be working one week on, one week off. My original plan was to continue to teach my group fitness classes during my weeks off. However upon reflection, I found it would not be feasible to do so. Also, it would be unfair on the instructor/s covering my classes to try and work their schedules around me! I feel that both they and you would benefit much more from them being able to get into a proper routine with you and build a rapport with you, as I have been able to do!

So, it is with a GREAT deal of sadness that I have decided to cease teaching my classes at Carden Park. For over ten years now, I have had the immense pleasure of teaching classes to the most amazing bunch of people I could ever have wished for! It has been a wonderful ride and you are not just the people I teach but also wonderful friends, who I will genuinely be sad not to see each week! So, this coming week commencing Monday 22nd April 2019, will be my final week of teaching my classes at Carden. Though a Bank Holiday, I 'will' be taking my circuits class at 6:30pm and then all classes as normal throughout the week... It would be great to see as many of you there as possible!

I'll be staying on the cover list and continuing to Personal Train at Carden so... you haven't got rid of me completely!!

Much love and Thanks... Mr T xXx
