Designed by our very own competition winner, six-year-old Bleu, this digital version of his Grinch-inspired design brings plenty of festive fun.

🎄 Making Christmas calm, joyful and accessible for everyone 🎄

The festive season can be full of excitement but also full of bright lights, busy environments and changes to routine.

And as today is day, it’s the perfect reminder that low-stimulation activities - like marathoning through some cosy festive films - can be just as meaningful as parties.

Here are some of our tips to make a more accessible Christmas:

💚 Create sensory-friendly alternatives like soft lights, calm corners or tactile Christmas crafts
💚 Use visual schedules or social stories to explain events, visitors or activity changes
💚 Offer ear defenders or quiet spaces during busy moments
💚 Check in often - reassurance, choice and validation go a long way

Every Christmas looks different and the best celebrations are the ones that feel right for the person at the centre. ✨

Our Complex Care client SB had a truly magical moment as she finished writing her Christmas wish list, tucked it safely into an envelope addressed to the North Pole, and posted it into a Christmas-decorated post box right outside her door! 🎅

With her support team right beside her, cheering her on every step of the way, SB sent off her letter with the biggest smile. A huge thank you to her support team - you bring so much joy this time of year ❤️

And between us… We know SB has definitely made Santa’s “nice” list! ⭐

🎄✨ A huge congratulations to six-year-old Bleu, Father Christmas’ number one fan! 👏🎅

This year, he’s enjoyed the Elf panto in Blackpool, met Santa at Cockfield's Farm, and is now counting down the sleeps until Christmas.

His Christmas card design will be featured as Amore Group's official Christmas card for 2025 — what an achievement. Well done, Bleu! 🌟

After being unable to attend our Open Day, candidate To-masz Dziopia reached out to us directly to start his application as a Support Worker.
