Katie Copeland’s Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic situated in the heart of Chester City Centre was founded in 1987 and by virtue of its continued excellent reputation has grown from a ‘one man band` to the present day multidisciplinary practice including six experienced Chartered Physiotherapists and Sports Massage Therapist. Ideally situated for city centre workers as well as those travell

ing from surrounding areas, Katie’s practice continues to provide physiotherapy of the highest standard and enjoys good relationships with GPs, Consultant Orthopaedic Specialists and Sports and Health clubs. Katie is also particularly proud of the large number of self referral patients who come under the “word of mouth” heading which speaks for itself in terms of reputation. A physiotherapist is qualified to assess and physically examine patients which along with careful history taking can make a clinical diagnosis of a painful or stiff condition that is preventing normal movement and function. There are many conditions that can be helped by physiotherapy below are some of the more common ones:-

Disabled people have access to street parking outside the practice, however others may have to use car parking facilities in the surrounding area.

Hi 👋 I’m Jon the new Physiotherapist at Bridgegate Physiotherapy Clinic.

I am a dedicated and highly motivated physiotherapist, having graduated from the University of Bradford with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Alongside my academic studies, I also achieved Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications in Sports Massage, which have helped to further develop my hands-on clinical treatment skills.

Prior to joining Bridgegate Physiotherapy Clinic, I gained valuable experience working in other private practice clinics and sports teams, allowing me to build a well-rounded approach to patient care.

I take pride in delivering a holistic style of rehabilitation, considering both the physical, psychological and lifestyle factors that contribute to each individual’s recovery.

I enjoy treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in lower limb injuries.

My passion for physiotherapy stems from my long-standing love of sport and exercise. I previously competed in swimming before progressing into gym-based training and becoming an avid runner.

Outside of the clinic, I like to stay active through a variety of activities.

I enjoy wakeboarding in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. I have also recently competed in HYROX events and completed two ultra-marathons, with plans to take on my third later this year.

Jon is available in clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 0900-1700.
