Wow!! We have had a huge number of mums getting in touch about becoming milk donors - thank you so much for your offers to help!

To help us maintain our service it would be really helpful if you could check if you meet our donor criteria before contacting us.

The main criteria are:
- baby under 9 months old
- not taking certain medications including antibiotics, antidepressants, blood pressure medications
- not exceeding 1-2 units of alcohol once or twice a week
- non smoker and no-one in household smokes
- live in England north of Birmingham or in Wales

Do you have a freezer full of expressed milk that you're not sure what to do with? Do you have enough milk to feed your own baby as well as help other babies in need? Please consider becoming a milk donor - demand for donor milk from milk banks is at an all time high.

💫💫TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK 💫💫
Last week we took a call from PICU at Freeman’s hospital.They needed to get milk from Ireland over to Newcastle for a baby in their care.
Could we help?
We have a great relationship with Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes so they were our first port of call.
We regularly use P&O ferries to transport milk to and from Ireland with the help of MCBB and Blood Bikes Dublin but 20L doesn’t fit on the back of a bike!
Callie quickly put out a call to action on the Bikers relay group and within hours the suggestion and logistics of flying the milk over had been discussed, agreed, and initiated.
When we work together we really can make the greatest difference.
