🌙 What Reiki feels like to me 🌙
Reiki feels like being lifted into the clouds.
It’s hard to describe, but imagine this — you’re relaxing, and suddenly you feel a subtle tingle, like tiny hairs on your skin being brushed by something invisible. It gives you chills — a wave that rolls through your body.
Except with Reiki, it goes deeper.
It spreads inside, filling you with warmth and flow.
For me, Reiki moves from above down, gently oozing warmth into the body. I’ve also experienced other healing energies, like Nordic shamanic energy work that feels more earthy and grounded, rising from the ground up.
Reiki, on the other hand, feels lighter — like sunlight melting into you. Sometimes it can give you chills or make your tummy growl — that’s just the energy moving. You might take a deep breath and sigh it out, releasing what’s been stuck.
Other times, personally, if I’ve been in heavier energy or haven’t practiced in a while, Reiki can feel intense — like my head gets heavy or I feel tired afterwards. But that’s just clearing, making space for lighter, softer frequencies to flow in again.
That’s what I love about Reiki.
It’s not always calm and fluffy — it’s real, physical, and deeply alive. I can always feel it moving through me, reminding me that energy is never still — it’s always transforming.
What does Reiki or energy healing feel like for you? 💫
