The Countess Charity We are the Fundraising Team at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Our aim is not to fund patient care, but to enhance and improve it. RegisteredCharity 1050015

There are over 80 funds across the hospital, each one making a real difference to patient care. We are the Fundraising Team for the Countess of Chester Hospital. We are a separate reg. charity (No.1050015). Funds are used to improve patient experience, focusing on areas not fully supported by NHS funding. The Countess of Chester is a 600 bed hospital, serving more than 445,000 patients per year from an areas covering Western Cheshire, Ellesmere Port, Neston and North Wales. We have over 100 separate funds here at the hospital, so you can raise money for almost any area. Some of the more popular areas are our Special Care Baby Unit, A&E department and Heart Equipment Fund. To enquire about a fundraising event, or to let us know about something you have already organised give us a call on 01244 366240. We're here Monday-Friday 9-5, and we love getting to know new fundraisers.

On Wednesday we had a special visitor to our Children's Ward, Charlie! Charlie raised £1847.56 for toys for the ward by walking the 20 mile Coastal Path with his mum.

Charlie said "I did the walk to raise money for toys as when I was in, there were hardly any toys and non at all at weekends. The toys today were amazing and pretty fun. It’s not as scary any more if I had to go in again. I hope it will make another child’s stay better and maybe someone else will be inspired.”

Our duck has arrived!!✨🦆

We’re proud to be sponsoring a duck in this year’s Chester Duck Race, organised by The Countess Charity.

We're even more delighted to be partnering with Hawarden Village Church School and letting the wonderful Year 6 pupils design and decorate our duck.

We look forward to seeing their creativity come to life and we can’t wait to show you the finished masterpiece, reveal coming soon...
