Sometimes I catch myself wondering how people see me.
How they read the ink on my skin.
How they interpret the armour I carved into my body when I was still learning how to survive.

My tattoos tell stories I didn’t have the words for back then — trauma etched into flesh because the need to look strong felt safer than the need to fit in. And even now, after all the healing, all the growth, all the reclaiming…
I’m surprised by how quickly that old insecurity can creep back in.

I don’t want to be judged.
I don’t want to be misunderstood.
And sometimes — just sometimes — I feel as unsure as the girl I used to be.

But then I breathe.
And I remember:

I am not here to be everyone’s cup of tea.
I am not here to shrink for the comfort of those who only look skin-deep.
I am not here to apologise for the chapters written on my body.

My ink is my story.
My softness is my strength.
And the people who are meant for me see far, far beyond the surface.

Just keep showing up authentically, and your people will find you 🤎

✨ This November, Lexie is turning World Diabetes Day into a whole Month of Well-Being — dedicating her energy to everything from running, biking, and swimming to meditation and sound baths 🧘‍♀️🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏊‍♀️

We’re honoured to support her journey at .chester with a Family Meditation & Sound Bath, where all proceeds go towards her fundraising for — a charity working to prevent, treat, and one day cure Type 1 Diabetes 💙

This December, we’re hosting a Soulful Christmas Shopping Afternoon at Soul Space Chester — a calm, candlelit space to pause, connect, and shop with intention before the holidays.

We’re inviting a few beautiful, like-minded local businesses to join us — creators, crafters, healers, and sellers whose work aligns with wellness, nature, and conscious living. Think candles, crystals, handmade jewellery, art, natural beauty, or thoughtful gifts.

🕯 When: Sunday 14th or 21st December, 3–6 PM (final date TBC)

It won’t be a hectic market — more a relaxed community gathering with festive drinks, gentle music, and space for people to browse and unwind.

This month’s Soul Sounds invites you to melt into deep stillness as sound and silence weave together to restore balance and peace within.

We begin with a guided Yoga Nidra — the art of conscious rest — allowing the body to release layers of tension and the mind to slip into spacious awareness. From this place of surrender, the Sound Bath unfolds… waves of vibration from crystal bowls, gongs, and healing instruments wash through your energy field, softening, harmonising, and bringing you home to yourself.

A space to let go, breathe, and remember your essence beyond the noise. 🌙

Mats, bolsters, and blankets are provided — just bring yourself and anything that helps you feel cosy. Sue to the duration of being reclined a thick mat or even inflatable mattress is advisable.
