Anne, of Eccleston, passed away peacefully at Prospect House Care Home on 7th February 2026, aged 90 years.

She leaves behind a legacy of wit, wisdom, and unwavering vitality. Sharp as ever till her final days, Anne was a beacon of energy and cheer, lighting up every room with her keen intellect and infectious laughter. Her zest for life was matched only by her kindness and generosity, qualities which endeared her to all who had the privilege to know her.

Throughout her many years, Anne touched countless lives, offering sage advice and heartfelt support at every turn. Her sharp mind and boundless curiosity inspired those around her, proving that true spirit knows no age. Highly thought of by her friends and all who crossed her path, Anne’s absence leaves an irreplaceable void their hearts.

She will be greatly missed, fondly remembered, and forever cherished.

The funeral service will take place at Flintshire Memorial Park and Crematorium on Monday 23rd February 2026 at 2pm.

Val passed away peacefully at the Countess of Chester Hospital on the 25th of January 2026 aged 87 years. She leaves behind cherished memories and a loving family who will miss her dearly.

Valerie was a happy, lovely lady whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her joyful spirit and caring nature brought light to the lives of those around her, and she will always be remembered with deep affection. Valerie's family and friends mourn her loss and celebrate the wonderful moments shared with her, holding her close in their hearts forever.

The funeral service will take place at St. Mark’s Church, Saltney on Friday 13th February 2026 at 2pm, followed by the committal service at Blacon Crematorium at 3.20pm.

Family flowers only please but donations will be gratefully accepted on behalf of The Modular Ward at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

We were truly touched by the wonderful surprise from one of our families. The personalised cards, delicious chocolate biscuits, and the beautiful heart-shaped appreciation plaques meant so much to our front line ladies, who work tirelessly every day to ensure we deliver the very best service possible for our families. DIRECT CREMATIONS / UNATTENDED FUNERALS

Did you know….

It’s not just the big companies you see advertising on TV that do direct cremations. As an Independent Family Funeral Director, we also offer unattended funerals.
Why choose an Independent Funeral Director?

• You will be dealing with one of our Funeral Arrangers face-to-face, rather than a call centre. We know our area and have great relationships with our local hospitals and crematoriums. All deceased we have the honour of caring for are kept with us in either our Broughton or Saltney branches, where your loved one will be cared for in the same way as all deceased in our care, with full respect and dignity.
• We use a hearse to take your loved one on their final journey – not a private ambulance.
• We offer to dress your loved one should you wish, or alternatively they may be gowned.
• We are here to help with any extras you may want. Eg; Viewing in our Chapel of Rest, flowers, keepsakes, arrangement of ashes burial etc. We are on hand to guide you through every step.
• Full cost transparency. At present a direct cremation with us will cost £1,395.00. Costs for any extras you may want will be discussed at time of need.

Finally, an unattended funeral doesn’t have to be a cremation! We can arrange an unattended burial on your behalf (Prices differ to direct cremation depending on cemetery/church fees).

David passed away at the Countess of Chester hospital on the 5th of January 2026, aged 86 years. Dearly loved Dad, Grandad and Great-Grandad, he will be sorely missed by all his family and friends.

Rosaleen was a cherished Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend.
