A Moment In Our Shoes is hosting an Inclusion day in Chesterfield Town Centre on 24th September 10am-3pm - this is a great initiative!
National Inclusion Week 2024 is 23rd-29th of September
So, a member of the public with a disability said, "I'd like someone to know what it feels like in my shoes…."
Well, we are making that happen.

24th September 10-3 New Square Market, Chesterfield
We want to know what it feels like in your shoes.
In conjunction with various organisations and charities, this thought-provoking event will be raising awareness of disabilities through visual art and hands-on experiences, spreading the message of inclusivity far and wide.
Decision makers and local influencers have agreed to step into the shoes of people with various disabilities and truly understand the hurdles they face in Chesterfield.
Stalls from various support networks will be available, and thanks to Grace Chapel, New Square, we will have teas and coffees throughout the day.
"We've been inspired by the incredible individuals in our local community, who face daily challenges of accessibility and inclusion. Sadly, they often find themselves left out of the loop in our modern society, yet they are so much more than their diagnosis."
But together, we can change that.
We are on a mission to make our town a positive shining example of inclusion.
