Feeling stressed? Your nervous system might be stuck in “alarm mode.” 🛑

In this video, we’re diving into Step 2 of reclaiming your calm: The Power of the Exhale. 🌬️

When we’re stressed, our breathing becomes short and shallow, which keeps our body on high alert. By simply extending your exhale, you trigger the Vagus Nerve—the longest nerve in your body—to release acetylcholine. Think of it as a natural tranquilizer for your heart and lungs, telling your brain it’s finally safe to relax. 🧘‍♂️

Give it a try:

Inhale through your nose for a count of 4.

Slowly exhale for a count of 8.
