Sip into Balance — Day Four | Heart
Today we arrive at the heart.
The heart chakra sits at the centre of the chest and acts as the bridge between the lower and upper chakras — where instinct meets insight, where strength meets softness.
It governs love, connection, compassion, and balance — not just in how we relate to others, but in how we relate to ourselves.
When this centre is steady, we feel open without being overwhelmed.
Warm without overextending.
Connected while still rooted in ourselves.
When it’s unsettled, it can show up as guardedness, emotional sensitivity, over-giving, or difficulty receiving support.
For today’s blend I’ve chosen herbs that feel balanced and quietly supportive:
Hawthorn Leaf for gentle heart support and steadiness.
Rose Petals for softness and warmth.
Lemon Balm to calm the system and keep things even.
Calendula for light and subtle brightness.
It’s not a heavy blend.
It’s about staying open and grounded at the same time.
To brew:
Add 1–2 teaspoons to freshly boiled water. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes before straining.
Today isn’t about fixing your heart.
It’s about tending to it.
