Sharon's husband, John, was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February 2023 at 73.

He had no symptoms other than a dull ache at the base of his spine, which he put down to age and years of running.

After speaking to his GP about the ache, further investigations revealed he had prostate cancer, which was advanced, aggressive and incurable, but possibly manageable for a number of years.

Shortly after, Sharon saw our March the Month challenge advertised and signed up 👣

With love and support from their friends and family, Sharon and John completed the challenge and raised an incredible £1,397 to help fund research to find better tests to diagnose men sooner.

With treatment, John is doing well and the couple have continued to help us raise vital awareness and funds over the years 💙

I’m thinking of offering a free Basic Life Support session for our local community.

This won’t be an accredited course or formal training, just an informal, relaxed session where I can share essential lifesaving skills such as recognising an emergency, CPR, and what to do before professional help arrives.

It’s not aimed at professionals or businesses, but at local residents who would simply like to feel more confident knowing what to do in an emergency situation.

My last post has been removed. Not because i do not stand by my professional views but because it seems to have triggered a lot of debate, but this is not a medic vs non-medic argument. The previous post just triggered arguments way outside of the actual point i was trying to make.

The point was never about titles. It was about patient safety and the urgent need for proper legislation in the aesthetics industry.

I genuinely do not care whether someone is a medic or non-medic. What matters is this: if you are performing procedures that carry medical risk, there must be the ability to manage complications, including life threatening emergencies. That requires appropriate medical oversight.

Emergency prescription medications cannot legally be held or used without the correct governance structures, such as medical direction. That isn’t opinion, it’s regulation.Remeber it illegal in England to hold emergency medication stock with out a medical director in a non CQC clinic.

England is behind on legislative change, and stronger regulation is needed to protect the public regardless of who the injector is.

This should never be about professional divides. It should always be about patient safety.

✨ Microneedling with Exosomes. Face, Neck and Hands ✨

Yes, this is me treating my own skin. I use what I offer.

Microneedling creates controlled micro channels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Over time this improves texture, fine lines, scarring, pigmentation and overall skin quality.

Exosomes enhance cellular repair by delivering growth factors and signalling molecules that support regeneration and recovery.

This is not an instant result treatment. Collagen remodelling takes around 4 to 6 weeks and best outcomes come from a course of treatments. Results are gradual and cumulative.

Skin preparation was completed prior to filming. Proper cleansing and disinfection are essential.

You will notice I am not wearing gloves. It is my own face and I am not required to protect myself from myself, allegedly 😂In clinic, full aseptic technique and PPE are always used.

As much as I’d genuinely love to offer every single one of you beautiful people an appointment whenever you want… I can’t 💜

Alongside running the clinic, I also lecture at university, carry out private psychiatry prescribing, and (most importantly) have a family to show up for. Because of that, I need to be a little firmer this year—for my own sanity and wellbeing.

👉 I offer early morning, before-work appointments, and occasional Saturday mornings.
