Granville braved the really miserable weather this morning (yes it’s STILL raining) to do the weekly vehicle checks, making sure that the minibus is safe and ready for getting everyone out and about this week! Granville is our resident petrolhead, so this is right up his street! Good work Granville!

On Saturday Helen, Carol and their friends Victoria, Maria and Marvin hopped on a train to York to follow the Ice Sculpture Trail that was being held there. We all had a wonderful time spotting the sculptures and ticking them off on the map. Helen said her favorite ones were the train and puffin sculptures, and of course Paddington is always lovely to see.

On Friday Anna who is supported by Carol from Holmewood's outreach team visited Weston Park Museum in Sheffield. Anna had a lovely time looking at all the exhibits, she particularly liked looking in the 150 years of collecting display. Anna said her favorite item was a beautiful Chinese wedding dress and shoes. We finished off the day by having a lovely lunch in The Norton Pub!
