The first phase of the regeneration of the upper market place completed a few months ago and work started on the New Square side. To avoid as much disruption to our practice Thomas Bow contractors have been amazing working with us and downing tools when we need to perform hearing tests and check ups to limit the noise but they do need to start work in front of our practice where our door is and there is no alternative entrance for ourselves.
We always agreed that we would work together to solve this has we all know this as to be done to move on with the completion.

We will be closing our practice Wednesday 10th December until Tuesday 16th December for them to carry out the work.

I will be working from home and our phone will be diverted to myself. Our next clinic for wax removals will be Thursday 18th December.

Just a reminder our final clinic days for Kirstin are Monday 8th December and Tuesday 9th December up to 12pm before she breaks up for her extended Christmas break.

We have cover on Thursday 18th December for wax removals so please contact me as soon as possible if you require an appointment as there will be no appointments available until in the New Year.

We are approaching December and there will be amendments to our opening hours as our wonderful owner/audiologist is taking extra time off to visit her family in Australia.

Kirstin's final clinic days will be Monday 8th December and up to 12.30pm on Tuesday 9th December.

I have been arranging appointments for all our hearing aid clients and chasing up our regular clients who have wax removal with ourselves so if you require any hearing care please contact me on 01246 901250 or email - advice@chesterfield hearing.co.uk to make an appointment.

We do have cover for any urgent wax removals on Thursday 18th December 2025 with our lovely Rachel who steps in when Kirstin is on holiday.

I will be in branch on my usual opening hours up to 23rd December 2025 and I will chase up any calls and emails in between Christmas and New Year and I will be in branch 29th December 2025.

Our branch will re-open on 5th January 2026

There will be no reception tomorrow and our branch will be closed 12th November as I will be away for a few days. Calls will be diverted but if not answered straight away please leave a message and Kirstin will get back to you at the earliest convenience.
The same will apply on our clinic days Thursday and Friday up to 12pm as Kirstin will be running these on her own so if your call is not answered please leave a message and she will return your call at her earliest convenience as she will be seeing patients as well.

This is a very interesting fact that we can agree with. If you feel you are not hearing well, not joining in conversations in certain settings which can make you withdrawn, TV volume increasing? Do not hesitate to contact us for a hearing test.

We are a friendly independant branch where no one is put under pressure to purchase. We offer free trials on all our hearing aids and then the decision is down to you.

We initially charge £60.00 for the hearing test and consultation, further visits are free.
