My day inside Acre Pharmacy in Walsall gave me such a deeper appreciation for the journey every prescription takes before it ever reaches my clinic.

I was shown around by one of their Medical Directors, who walked me through each stage of the process from the moment an order like mine enters their system, through multiple layers of clinical checking, product verification, batch control, and final release. Every step had its own safeguards, its own accountability, and its own purpose in protecting patient safety.
When medication arrives with me, it’s already passed through a chain of rigorous checks designed to uphold the highest standards and seeing that firsthand was incredibly reassuring!
