Remember to check your skin even in Winter ☃❄

If you notice any changes to the size, shape or colour of your moles, have a mole that’s crusty, bleeding or inflamed, itchy or painful or new unusual marks on your skin that don’t go away after a few weeks, then your GP wants to see you. 👨‍⚕🩺

The chances are it won’t be skin cancer but if it is finding it as early as possible can mean it is easier to treat.

Don’t wait until summer get it checked now! Skin cancer doesn’t hibernate!

🌿 New Training Opportunity: Last Days Matter 🌿

Derbyshire Carers Association is proud to announce the launch of Last Days Matter Training - Our Last Days Matter workshop is a gentle, 3-hour session designed to support Carers, family members, friends, and volunteers who are walking alongside someone in their final chapter.

After successfully completing the Train the Trainer course with the incredible team at Blythe House Hospice, we’re now ready to deliver this vital training to our amazing network of Carers and volunteers. 💜

💬 Whether you're a seasoned Carer or just starting your journey, this training offers:
✅ Emotional and practical preparation
✅ Tools to support dignity and comfort
✅ Guidance for meaningful conversations
✅ Understanding the final days
✅ Life after loss
✅ Safe space for question's & reflections
