We are seeking compassionate and committed carers to join our community care team, covering Chesterfield, Dronfield, the Peak District, and the Derbyshire Dales.

At EDS Homecare, we have proudly delivered high-quality homecare services within our community for over 25 years. As a nurse-led, family-run business, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care while always putting both our clients and staff first.

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include supporting individuals with personal care, preparing meals and drinks, assisting with medication, carrying out light domestic tasks, providing companionship, and more.

Key Information ⭐
Competitive pay rates between £14.00 – £14.75 per hour (service-based increments)
25p per mile paid for all travel between visits
Regular shift patterns with consistent hours to support work-life balance
Well-planned rotas designed to reduce travel time
Comprehensive training and shadowing before starting care duties
An excellent staff recognition and rewards programme, including vouchers, hotel stays, paid days off, and more

Job Requirements 📋
Good level of spoken and written English
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance)

Martyna, Josie and Morgan from EDS Homecare's management team, and Kate, one of our wonderful Care Assistants, are running the Redbrik Chesterfield 10k this year to support Ashgate Hospice! 🏃‍♂️❤️

Ashgate Hospice relies heavily on donations made by the community, and we have firsthand seen the amazing work they do to dignify and support individuals during the hardest point of their lives. Many of our clients have used Ashgate's services, therefore we feel it is extremely important to participate in raising money for such a good cause.

We have started a fundraiser for Ashgate Hospice, and we would really appreciate your participation - again, the work they carry out is invaluable to the community. As you may all know, EDS is what it is today due to the wonderful Lucy - whose daughter Kate took over the company and is our amazing Managing Director!
