We are seeking compassionate and committed carers to join our community care team, covering Chesterfield, Dronfield, the Peak District, and the Derbyshire Dales.

At EDS Homecare, we have proudly delivered high-quality homecare services within our community for over 25 years. As a nurse-led, family-run business, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care while always putting both our clients and staff first.

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include supporting individuals with personal care, preparing meals and drinks, assisting with medication, carrying out light domestic tasks, providing companionship, and more.

Key Information ⭐
Competitive pay rates between £14.00 – £14.75 per hour (service-based increments)
25p per mile paid for all travel between visits
Regular shift patterns with consistent hours to support work-life balance
Well-planned rotas designed to reduce travel time
Comprehensive training and shadowing before starting care duties
An excellent staff recognition and rewards programme, including vouchers, hotel stays, paid days off, and more

Job Requirements 📋
Good level of spoken and written English
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance)

We are based in The Glass Yard, a complex located opposite the SMH Group Stadium in Chesterfield. If the door to access upstairs is closed, press 5F on the buzzer and one of our lovely team will buzz you up 👍
We have an open-door office policy, meaning anyone is welcome to pop in for a chat or a cuppa when we are open, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00☕

A huge congratulations to Steve, who went above and beyond during the snowy weather for one of our wonderful clients! ❤️

Operating out in the heart of the Peak District, we have clients in some of the more rural, isolated areas out there. Steve, with no hesitation or questions asked, trudged through the snow for over 30 minutes to get to one of these clients, ensuring he was safe and well.

EDS and the client's family really appreciated the effort and dedication shown by Steve to ensuring our client's safety, so Steve has been given a token of appreciation from family! Steve was also sent a Recognition Award from EDS following his brilliant work during the treacherous weather 😃

As the 4th Lotto winner, Magda was treated to a paid day off on the 21st of March! She enjoyed a day of sunshine and fresh air, out with her pups 🐕☀️
