Know someone dealing with ongoing knee pain that’s not settling?

Particularly if it’s related to wear and tear or osteoarthritis, and things haven’t improved as expected.

There are a range of options that can be considered — including advanced injection treatments such as hyaluronic acid, where clinically appropriate.

At Peak Joint Relief, I offer a personalised, assessment-led approach to help you understand what may (and may not) be suitable for you.

📩 Feel free to get in touch, or share this with someone who might find it helpful.

Knee starting to niggle… but you’re still pushing through?

You can still train.
Still run.
Still get through the week.

But your knee:

Feels stiff at the start
Aches after activity
Isn’t quite as reliable as it used to be

This is often where early wear and cartilage changes begin to show up.
Not severe.
But enough to start affecting how you move — and how confident you feel.

Most people at this stage either:

Ignore it and push through
Or scale everything back
Neither is ideal.

At Peak Joint Relief, I offer a simple, honest approach for people who want to stay active — without overcomplicating things.

Where this fits:

If your knee isn’t improving with good rehab or time, there may be other options to consider.
Including hyaluronic acid (HA) injections in the right situation.

What to expect:

Straightforward assessment
Clear advice (no pressure)
Discussion of all options — not just injections

HA isn’t for everyone, and results can vary —
but in some cases it may help support movement, comfort, and consistency.

Who this is for:

Runners, gym-goers, Hyrox, hikers
Or if you know someone into padel, pickleball, tennis, or golf
Early–moderate knee symptoms
Wanting to stay ahead of the problem

The aim:

Keep you moving well.
Keep you doing what you enjoy.
Help you make the right call at the right time.

Knee arthritis? There’s an option before surgery.

If your knee pain isn’t improving — even after exercise or physiotherapy — it’s easy to feel stuck between two options:

Keep managing it (often with short-term relief like steroid injections)
Or start thinking about surgery

But there may be a middle ground.

At Peak Joint Relief, I offer a clear, considered approach to knee pain related to:

Wear and tear / osteoarthritis
Cartilage changes
Ongoing pain, stiffness, or swelling
Beyond “just another steroid”

Steroid injections can be helpful — particularly for short-term relief.

However, they may not always be the most appropriate longer-term option, especially if:

Symptoms keep returning
You want to stay active
You’re looking for a more joint-focused approach
Where hyaluronic acid fits

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is naturally present in the joint.

In some patients, it may help:

Improve joint movement
Reduce irritation
Support function over time

It is not a cure, and results can vary — but it can be a potential option between conservative care and surgery, depending on individual circumstances.

My approach
Focused clinical assessment
Clear explanation of options
No pressure — treatment only if appropriate

If a steroid is more suitable, I’ll say.
If injection treatment isn’t appropriate, I’ll say that too.

Who this is for
Ongoing knee pain affecting daily life or activity
Symptoms not improving despite appropriate rehabilitation
You’re not ready for surgery — or want to explore alternatives
You value clear advice and timely access to care
The aim

To help reduce pain, improve movement, and support informed decision-making about your next steps.

Spring’s here.

More light.
More movement.
More time outside.

If knee pain, cartilage wear or arthritis is limiting you, the question isn’t “should I just push through?”

It’s:

Can I move with more comfort this season?

For suitable clients, we offer:

• Hyaluronic acid injections to support joint lubrication and cushioning
• Combined hyaluronic acid + corticosteroid options where an added targeted anti-inflammatory effect is clinically appropriate

These treatments can:

• Support shock absorption
• Reduce stiffness
• Improve comfort with walking and activity
• Relieve pain for up to 6–12 months in some clients

They can’t reverse arthritis or regrow cartilage.
And they’re not a first step.

They’re typically considered when appropriate conservative management — including structured rehabilitation and physiotherapy — hasn’t provided sufficient improvement.

Advanced level assessment.
Clear suitability criteria.
Evidence-informed, ethical care.

Suitability discussions are handled directly by the clinic owner.

Knee pain not settling like it should?

If you’re living with arthritis or cartilage-related knee pain that keeps hanging around despite rest, exercise, painkillers, or physiotherapy — you’re not alone. And you do have options.

At Peak Joint Relief, I assess and treat persistent knee joint pain using evidence-informed injection therapy that may help reduce pain and improve function.

This can include hyaluronic acid injections and, where clinically appropriate, other injection options — always based on your assessment, goals, and medical suitability.

Important:
• No single product is prioritised — treatment choice is based on clinical need
• Images shown are examples of treatments used in practice — product selection is individual and not promoted
• Full assessment and screening carried out before any procedure
• In line with CSP and HCPC standards of practice
• Risks, benefits, and alternatives always discussed

This private service is for people whose knee pain is ongoing, limiting life, and not responding well to standard measures.
