Recently our residents have been learning about Diwali, the festival of lights. We are very fortunate here at Chichester Grange that our carers come from different countries around the world. Two of our lovely carers from India came and showed the residents what they wear and eat during these celebrations. They brought in sweet treats for the residents to try and talked about how the different areas of India celebrate in different ways. The residents have also enjoyed making diya tea light lamps.

Another amazing wish fulfilled today!
Mrs A got to go swimming for the first time since arriving at the Grange 2 years ago!She has always loved to swim so the lifestyle team and Everyone Active ,Westgate Leisure Centre made it happen. Her daughter swam with her and was able to share In the memories made today. Mrs A absolutely loved the sense of independence and freedom it gave her and it rekindled fond memories of past.
