Ozonated oil is a topical use of ozone.

Ozone is bubbled through oil to produce ozonides.

Ozone eliminates pathogens and, by releasing O2, activates the proliferation of fibroblasts. Ozone then stimulates the successive healing processes.

As an antiseptic, ozonated oil kills off bad bacteria and stimulates growth factor which speeds up healing. Ozonated oil also stimulates the body to produce collagen which is important for skins elasticity. Stimulating collagen helps to maintain a younger looking appearance.

What makes ozonated oil one of the best topical treatments?

By it’s action via two simple pathways:
1. To kill pathogens
2. Promote healing

Ozone stimulates endogenous hydrogen peroxide production. The skin produces hydrogen peroxide as a defence mechanism against pathogens. Ozone oil is therefore a stimulator to the body.

Ozonated oil helps with Inflammation within 4-6 days. In proliferation and remodelling stage of the skin, ozonated oil promotes tissue repair.

This is why ozonated oil is effective at treating acne. By minimising pathogen diffusion and enhancing microcirculation, ozonated oil reduces the swelling, destroys the pathogen, and rapidly heals the skin from damage.

Why is ozonated oil not well-know?

Ozonated oil is actually more a medical treatment than a beauty product. Our skin is a gateway to our entire system. Whatever you put on your skin has a systemic effect. Many toxic compounds are found in beauty products which have a proven negative and harmful systemic effect on the body.

Ozonated oil is a perfect alternative to steroid creams which are regularly prescribed for conditions such as psoriasis & eczema. The effects of prolonged steroid cream use is well documented, such as withdrawal where skin can no longer produce natural oils and becomes dehydrated. This can last years. Studies show that ozonated oil is more effective than steroid and antibiotic creams.
