Kings Lodge is a purpose built Nursing Home on the south coast situated on the edge of Chichester harbour. The Home caters for 77 residents providing care to male and females over the age of 65 for long and short term stays who may require nursing care. Facilities include a high dependency unit and provisions for respite, intermediate and general nursing care as well as EMI nursing care. Our Home has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with family visits welcomed at any time. Refreshments are available for visitors at all times and arrangements can be made for residents to eat their meals with their guests in private.

A December Stroll to Remember 🌤️
Today at Kings Lodge, we finally caught a beautiful moment of sunshine right in the middle of December — and we weren’t about to miss it!

Our residents wrapped up warm and enjoyed a peaceful stroll around the local area, taking in the fresh air, the quiet surroundings, and the simple beauty of nature. 🍃✨

The weather was amazing, the atmosphere calm, and we even paused to admire a stunning winter sunset together. 🌅

Moments like these remind us how special it is to slow down and enjoy the world around us. 💛

🎶 Entertainment Afternoon with Chris Buck! 🎤💃🕺

On 25th November, our residents were treated to yet another fabulous afternoon of fun here at Kings Lodge Nursing Home. The wonderful Chris Buck filled the room with energy, nostalgia, and plenty of toe-tapping classics!

He had everyone swaying along to well-known old favourites — and before long, the lounge was full of singing, dancing, clapping, and cheering. The smiles said it all ❤️

Another Fun-Filled Week at Kings Lodge! ✨

Life at Kings Lodge is never quiet — and this week our residents proved it once again! From start to finish, the days were packed with energy, creativity, and plenty of smiles.

🎨 Arts & Crafts brought out everyone’s imagination.
🧠 Quiz Morning sparked friendly competition and clever thinking.
💪 Exercise Sessions kept us moving, laughing, and feeling great.
🎶 Singing and Music filled the home with joy (and a few happy dance moves!).
🚌 And of course, our trips out added even more excitement to the week.

It’s always wonderful to see our residents staying active, engaged, and enjoying every moment. Here’s to another week of fun, friendship, and fantastic memories at Kings Lodge! ❤️

✨ A Magical Week at Kings Lodge! ✨

This week our residents wrapped up warm and set off on the most heart-warming festive adventures. We visited beautiful Christmas decoration displays that truly brought the magic of the season to life. 🎄✨

There were smiles, giggles, shared memories, and plenty of “Do you remember when…?” moments that filled the air with warmth. It was wonderful to see everyone soaking up the sparkle and joy together.

And of course, no winter outing is complete without a cozy stop at a café! ☕️❄️ We warmed up with hot drinks, tasty treats, and even more laughter.

These magical trips reminded us of the simple joys of the season — good company, festive cheer, and moments that become memories. ❤️

Remembrance Day at Kings Lodge 🌺

This year, our residents came together to mark Remembrance Day in full — with hearts full of gratitude and memories to share. ❤️

On Remembrance Sunday, everyone gathered to watch the national commemorations on TV, followed by a beautiful afternoon of reflection and memory sharing.

On Monday, we were treated to a wonderful performance by Charlotte, whose songs filled the home with warmth, nostalgia, and smiles. 🎶

And on Tuesday, 11th November, we came together once more for a peaceful and meaningful church service, honouring those who gave so much for our freedom.

It was a moving few days filled with love, remembrance, and togetherness.
Lest we forget. 🌹

🎭✨ Phantom of the Opera Masquerade Ball at Kings Lodge! ✨🎭

This Halloween, our residents stepped into the spotlight for a spooktacular evening at our very own Masquerade Ball! 👻🎶

Costumes, masks, and magical melodies filled the room as the Phantom of the Opera himself made an appearance to perform his hauntingly beautiful song. From ghouls to goblins, witches to wizards, everyone joined in for an unforgettable night of tricks, treats, laughter, and dance! 💃🕺🎃

The halls echoed with squeaks, shrieks, and sweet delights as our residents celebrated Halloween in true Kings Lodge style — with joy, community, and a touch of spooky elegance! 💫
