We celebrated Bonfire Night – Waterhaven Place style! ✨ A magical evening filled with light, laughter, and togetherness. Our residents and guests enjoyed a beautiful lighting display, accompanied by delicious hot dogs 🌭 and classic toffee apples 🍎 — the perfect treat for a crisp autumn night!

The wonderful Annaliesa set the ambience perfectly with her live music, adding warmth and joy to the evening🎶💖

🌮 Sombreros, fajitas, and mariachi — what a night! 🪇

Our Mexican Fiesta at Waterhaven Place was an evening to remember! 🇲🇽✨

The incredible The Mexican Way brought the house down with an outstanding performance that had everyone dancing, singing, and clapping along! 💃🕺 The atmosphere was electric, and the smiles said it all😄

Meanwhile, our amazing kitchen team treated us to a mouthwatering feast of fajitas, quesadillas, and churros — a true taste of Mexico that left everyone happily full! 🌯🍫👏

Adding even more colour to the celebration, the talented Georgia Parker worked her magic with fantastic face painting — and of course, we couldn’t end the night without the very dramatic destruction of our much-anticipated piñata! 🎊😂

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening bursting with energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments❤️

💃🎤 A huge shoutout to the fabulous Dawn Gracie - Dawn's Vintage Do and all the amazing volunteers - including our very own CRM, Cheryl - and performers at the Dickie Bows & Petticoats Club today! 🎩✨

What an absolutely wonderful and energetic event — beautifully organised and packed with laughter from start to finish. Our residents had a brilliant time enjoying the cabaret-style show, complete with a touch of burlesque flair and some delightfully cheeky “politically incorrect” bingo! 😆

It was full of fun, sparkle, and plenty of sass — just the way we like it at Waterhaven Place! 💫

🎉💗 What a fantastic week of celebrations at Waterhaven Place! 💗🎉

We’ve had plenty to celebrate this week — with lots of birthdays, beautiful live music from Heather the Harpist and Alice Milburn, and smiles all around as our residents enjoyed and sang along with the soothing melodies🎶💐

The week culminated in our vibrant Wear It Pink Day, where our team proudly donned their pink attire to help raise awareness for breast cancer 🩷 Staff and residents came together to highlight the importance of early diagnosis and to show support for such an important cause 🎀

Last night, we had the pleasure of attending the Social Care Leadership Awards, where Ruby was a finalist for The Young Leader in Social Care Award! 🎉

This prestigious award recognises exceptional young professionals under 30 who are driving innovation, demonstrating outstanding leadership, and inspiring others within the social care sector.

Although she didn’t take home the trophy this time, becoming a finalist is an incredible achievement in itself — a true reflection of her passion, dedication, and commitment to person-centred care. 💙

Join us for an enchanting evening of live music, sizzling hot dogs, sweet toffee apples, and comforting hot chocolate — all leading up to a beautiful sparkling moment in the garden to light up the night.

Friday 28th November | 4-7pm
Get into the festive spirit early! Browse beautiful handmade gifts, enjoy mince pies and mulled wine, and experience the start of the Christmas season with us.

🎉 Happy Birthday to our lovely David — 88 years young today! 🎂

He’s had quite the eventful day — starting with a visit from the alpacas this morning 🦙, followed by lunch at the Oving Jubilee Hall community tea party, where everyone sang Happy Birthday and surprised him with a cake! 🎶🍰

To top it all off, David even won in the raffle! 🎟️ His gorgeous smile says it all — what a wonderful day celebrating a truly special gentleman. 💛
