The Boxgrove Clinic, a team of the very best Physios, Soft Tissue Therapists, Pilates Instructors

Our aim and philosophy from the outset was to create a welcoming and inspiring centre with a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach to wellbeing. We understand everyone is different and that is why we have a unique approach to each patient. It is not only treatment we offer but instead a tailored process that flows from pain relief, to rehabilitation and ultimately to peak fitness. We seek to understand the goals of the individual and work as a team to support you in recovery, health and well-being.

We are quietly working up a calendar of day retreats and wellness workshops here at The Boxgrove Clinic. If you fancy joining us for our first event next Saturday we have a few spaces still available. ‘NOURISH’ is a day retreat that will indulge your body, mind, and soul, and provide you with valuable tools to help you make healthier choices, even on tough days. Serena is one of our senior physiotherapists. 'She is one of those rare people who makes you feel seen and understood. She is empathetic, compassionate and kind and an expert in her field'. Not our words but one of our recent patients. This photo says it all.

At the recent NHS conference in Manchester, health leaders and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy made impassioned calls for greater access to rehab services stating that 'Medicines & Surgery save lives but rehab saves people’. We couldn't agree more.

A huge congratulations to Jamie for recently completing the Bognor 10k. He ran his fastest time since 2015, in support of the Air Ambulance Service. He has worked incredibly hard on his rehab this last year, regularly attending the lower limb class and has been supported by Emma, Julia, Georgina, Laura and Serena. A cracking team effort with a fantastic end result. 👏🦵👊

Physio Led Pilates Classes at The Boxgrove Clinic.

Are you looking to get back into class based exercise but would like the support and guidance of an experienced physiotherapist? Every Wednesday at 10am, our Senior Physiotherapist, Heather, runs a small group mat class for patients with pre-existing conditions like Osteoporosis and Lumbar Stenosis.

Heather also runs a 4:1 reformer Pilates class at 9am for patients looking to progress from mat class or lower limb class to Physio Led reformer.

She has spent the last 15 years specialising in Women's & Men's Health Physiotherapy and treats a wide range of conditions. These include bladder and bowel disorders and conditions. Last weekend, Jade (our dynamo clinic administrator) and three of her friends took on and completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. A total distance of 38.6km, they climbed 1585m across three peaks in just over 10 hours. We are super proud to have her in The Boxgrove Clinic team and we wanted to wish her a huge congrats from us all.
