National Apprenticeship Week Spotlight

Meet Jenny, who joined us in July 2023!

Starting as a CareAngel, Jenny has grown into a Team Leader & HCP Champion, building bridges between our Guardian Angel Carers and health care professionals.

She works closely with GPs, district nurses, OTs, social workers, and more to ensure clients get timely, coordinated support, sharing updates and feedback to keep care seamless.

Jenny’s journey shows how apprenticeships unlock potential, develop skills, and create real career opportunities!

Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week

At Guardian Angel Carers, we’re committed to supporting our team to grow, learn, and develop their careers in care.

Shannon joined us in March 2021 as a CareAngel and has progressed to become a Care Coordinator. This progression reflects the opportunities available through our apprenticeship and development pathways, including on-the-job training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.

We believe in providing the right support, guidance, and learning opportunities so that our team can thrive and deliver the best care for the people we support. Shannon’s journey is a great example of how dedication, combined with the right support, can lead to meaningful career growth within social care.

A very special celebration in our Chichester branch!

Yesterday, our team were thrilled to celebrate client Mary’s 100th Birthday. Chichester born and bred, Mary marked her incredible milestone surrounded by friends, our wonderful Care Angels, and the Care Delivery Team. She enjoyed delicious cake and plenty of heartfelt conversation.

The highlight of the day? A surprise visit from baby Remi, old friends and neighbour’s making the celebration even more memorable.

A huge thank you to Lullabelles Floristry for the beautiful flowers that brightened the room, and thank you to Katie-may Rose and Jennifer Cole for the amazing cakes that helped make Mary’s day extra special.

Here’s to Mary, a true inspiration!

With exciting plans for continued growth into 2026, we are now seeking caring, thoughtful and dedicated Loneliness Companions to join our exceptional team of Healthcare Professionals in and around the Chichester area.

Because we support individuals directly in their own homes, a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Salary: £15.00–£16.25 per hour + 45p per business mile
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available. All Carers are required to work alternate weekends.

Shifts Available:
• Nights: 7pm–7am
• Evenings: 5pm–10pm
• Weekends: from 7am onwards

No experience? No problem. Whether you’re brand new to care or already have experience as a Care Assistant or Carer, you’ll receive full training and ongoing support every step of the way.
