The Guardian Angel Carers Chichester Team were in full community spirit on Saturday!

Serving up a Christmas dinner with the best roasties ever from Carlasfood2/Carla's Kitchen and a delicious chocolate log with cream, the team loved hosting their Festive Golden Angels event at Swanfield Chapel. The atmosphere was made even more special with live music from the wonderful Saltwater Harmony Acoustic Duo.

Guests then enjoyed a raffle with fabulous prizes kindly donated by local businesses La Fish, All That Glitters, and The Bazaar.

A huge thank you to HCP Champion Jenny Cole for the delicious cakes and to Emma Adams for the beautiful table decorations.

It was a heart-warming celebration that truly brought our community together, sharing food, music, conversation, and festive cheer.

Huge congratulations to our Head of Operations, Tracy Clarke, who took part in the Dip In, Dip Out open water swimming event with Warner Goodman LLP yesterday, all to raise money for Abby's Heroes!

Not a lover of cold water (or water in general!), this was a huge personal challenge, and she smashed it!

Abbey’s Heroes is a wonderful cause that supports children and families living with cancer. Tracy’s fundraising will make a real difference in helping the charity deliver hope and support to these families.

Tracy has already raised over £250, but there’s still time to show your support and help her go even further.

What an evening!

Last night, our Registered Manager Kirstie and Care Coordinator Shannon attended the Chichester & District Business Awards, where we were shortlisted for the Business Community Contribution Award.

Although we were pipped at the post by the deserved winners, Fandango Digital Ltd, we were absolutely honoured to receive a Highly Commended!

At Guardian Angel Carers Chichester, we understand how vital it is to look after both the physical and emotional wellbeing of our clients and CareAngels. Taking time to talk, rest, and reach out for help when needed can make all the difference.

The Chichester Team were full of praise after taking part in ‘Dying for a Cuppa – The Masterclass’ with Katie Costello - Soul Midwife and Funeral Celebrant.

They found the session thought-provoking, engaging, and empowering, sparking great conversations and helping the team feel more confident talking about difficult subjects with compassion and understanding.

More Exciting News – We’ve Been Shortlisted!

We are ending this week on a high and are thrilled to announce that Guardian Angel Carers Chichester has also been shortlisted for the Business Community Contribution Award at the Chichester & District Business Awards!

Over the past year, our team has been busy making a positive impact in the community. From our Golden Angel Lunches to fun in-branch activities like cake decorating, bingo, and flower arranging, we’ve loved bringing people together, spreading joy, and creating meaningful experiences for our clients and local residents.

The team are in full swing with their “Dying for a Cuppa” Masterclass with Katie Costello - Soul Midwife and Funeral Celebrant!

A CPD-accredited session exploring death education from a human perspective, helping us better understand the dying process, what it looks like, and how we can best support those at the end of life.

An insightful, compassionate, and thought-provoking morning (with plenty of tea, of course!).
