How brilliant is this… great work Artsdream selsey 💙

If you’re 18-30 years old and live in Selsey then ARTS DREAM SELSEY has an offer you can’t refuse.

Chichester Festival Theatre is offering a week long summer workshop to teach young people technical skills in the theatre.

Arts Dream Selsey will cover the cost of the workshop for 2 Selsey residents - that’s £100 each and the cost for your daily travel to the theatre.

So if you want to learn more about what sort of work goes on behind the scenes of a busy theatre then we’ve got you covered. Just let us know when you've applied.

You will need to follow the process on the CFT website and if you’re selected by CFT we’ll pay your fees and help you achieve your dreams.

Some of our usual amigos were missing from this week – a few poorly, a few resting – but the gang still made sure the fun carried on!

After their reminiscing music session, Anne-Marie kicked things off with balloons… which somehow turned into a full glow-stick rave moment!

Safe to say things got a little lively, a lot of laughs were had, and the room was definitely full of energy.

Today we would like to say a big thank you to Lacey, who volunteered with us and brought such a kind and positive presence to the room.

Volunteers like Lacey make such a difference to our sessions. It’s the small moments — conversations, helping with activities, and simply being there — that help create the warm and welcoming environment our members enjoy.

At The-Care-Pod community is at the heart of everything we do, and we are so grateful when people choose to give their time to support others.

Selsey’s future starts with Selsey’s voice……let your voice be heard🧡

The Annual Town Meeting is a chance for residents to come together, hear updates, ask questions and share ideas about the future of Selsey.

Chantelle Mason be there speaking about the work happening locally through The-Care-Pod and The Care Pod Pathways — from dementia support for older residents and their families, to new programmes helping young people build confidence, independence and prepare for adulthood.

It’s an opportunity to hear what’s happening across the town and for the community to come together, share perspectives and help shape the future of Selsey🧡💙🧡
