Such a beautiful service 💜It was an absolute honour to sponsor the Memory Cards.

🕯️ A big thank you to everyone who joined us at our Light Up a Life service tonight at Chichester Cathedral.

It was a beautiful evening, bringing the community together to listen to music and readings, as well as lighting candles in memory of loved ones.

V2 Radio kindly recorded the event and will be sharing it on Christmas Eve, so for those who were unable to attend or would like to listen again, there will be the opportunity to do so. Thank you to the Cathedral Voluntary Choir for being part of this special evening.

⭐️Feel good Friday⭐️

How is it Friday already?! They say time flies when you are having fun and they do not lie! This week we have:-

💜Visit from our friends at Marriott House and Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare spreading Christmas Cheer
💜Met with West Sussex Growth Hub West Sussex County Council regarding our Social Media (so informative!)
💜Donated a Raffle Prize to our friends at Anchor - Augusta Court for their Christmas Party
💜Visited Kate at The Anchorage Care Home, meeting the beautiful Selly (who attempted a sneaky peck on the cheek whilst Emma took the photo!)
💜Attended the MNC Networking at Worthing this morning, meeting new friends and hearing about their wonderful businesses
🍾And to finish off a great week, our Carer Beatrice came in to the office to let us know she has passed her driving test! We gave her a bottle of bubbles to celebrate!

On Sunday, Emma will be attending the St Wilfrid's Hospice Light Up A Life event at Chichester Cathedral. We have proudly sponsored the memory cards to support the ongoing work the Hospice does for our local community. Our friends at Reynolds Funeral Service are the main sponsor of this wonderful event.

Are you going out shopping this weekend? Or shopping online?

If you are able, could do something amazing by adding one or two (or more) extra gifts to you basket to help a child in poverty receive a Christmas present 🎁

Once your kind deed is done, you can pop the gifts into the Cash for Kids South Coast, West Sussex & Salisbury donation box in our reception and the amazing volunteers with ensure that your gift goes to a child on the south coast. Our office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

As a thank you from us, we will put the kettle on for a cuppa and a cake ☕️🧁

No child should wake up on Christmas morning without a gift from Santa. If we all help each other, life gets better 💜

Our final meet the team post introduces Laura Wheeler, Care Planner at Prestige Nursing & Care Chichester.

"I have been working in the home care sector for over 13 years. I started as a carer and with training and experience progressed to Care Coordinator, with some great help along the way. I am keen to give that help to my care colleagues to ensure they reach their full potential, which will benefit all of our clients.'

Laura is central to the day to day planning of the care we deliver to our clients.

Next up in our Meet the Team series, we introduce Emma Bayley...

Emma is our Customer Relations Manager. Emma has worked in Care for over 20 years in the West Sussex and Hampshire area and brings vast experience in Care Home leadership, Customer Relations and business administration.

Emma spends a lot of her time out in the community, attending events, meeting professionals and sharing the services Prestige Nursing and Care Chichester can offer, ensuring they know we are here to offer an expert Home Care service.

Emma is also responsible to supporting our clients and their families with quality assurance.

When asked about her role, Emma said ‘I am so excited to be part of the Prestige team, it enjoys an excellent reputation within the care sector, and we want to grow the support we offer to individuals in the place they love the most – their own home.

'I feel so lucky to have met so many professionals and am enjoying creating lasting working relationships to support the local community.'
