Poppy and Freddy had great swims today. Poppy is building her strength and stamina and Freddy has improved so much after only 4 swims. He’s opening up through his limbs and paws and is looking straighter and stronger.

Freddy at his first hydrotherapy session expertly guided by Julie at Therapaws 'The 1st' Canine Swimming Pool, Kelly's Grooming & Dog Agility. I’ve been treating Freddy, a 4 year old flat-coated retriever, for an unbalanced gait. He’s been progressing well, so the next step is to build muscle strength and tone without overloading his joints by using water resistance.
It may be his first session in the pool, but he took to it like a pro 🤩

Step into February with a new adventure for you and your dogs.

After all a lot of dogs like to be busy, give them something to do....

This can assist with channelling their excess energy and stimulate their minds.

Dogs also love to run.

I offer 1:2:1 or 2:2:1 lessons as well as classes in both dog agility and hoopers.

These are non competitive, over low equipment and at a slower pace.

Come and have a taster session, see if it is something you and your dog can enjoy together.

It is also a good way to improve your recall, waits and bonding etc.

Prices start at £20 for a half hour lesson.

Dogs need to be over 6 months old.

Poppy had cruciate surgery on her left hind leg and has arthritis in her right stifle joint. Hydrotherapy, alongside my McTimoney veterinary chiropractic and laser treatments, plus holistic treatments from the vet, is allowing Poppy to become stronger, more balanced and pain free 🥳
