My Mission Statement

I've always been fascinated in why we do what we do. Why do we make certain choices? Why do we behave in a certain way? And importantly, is this all predetermined or can we actually change the course of our thinking?

As a teenager I used to spend hours reading in the local bookstore and read a variety of books, confident that amongst the pages I'd have some semblance of an answer. It was only when I came to coaching that I could finally thread all the pieces together.

Coaching, mentoring, change work (whichever term you want to call it) has been a dominant part of my life, well before I becoming a coach. Having been blown away by Dale Carnegie's book, How to Win Friends and Influence People, at the age of 17 I've realised that we can change patterns of behaviour. That anxiety and stress can be redirected and that the mind/body isn't separate but one unified system. Ultimately that we are not fixed, we can change, we can be more than we are and are capable of fulfilling our potential. And very often it can be achieved in minutes and hours, not days and years - this is the advantage of using both hypnotherapy and NLP, as well as modern coaching techniques and strategies.
