A bruise is skin discolouration caused when a blood vessel is damaged and blood leaks out.

Over a few days to a week, the body breaks down that blood and the bruise goes.

You can reduce the risk of bruising...arnica cream, not drinking alcohol a day or so before and after your treatment and not taking OTC blood thinners like ibuprofen helps reduce the risk, but the risk is still there.

If you’re someone who absolutely cannot, must not EVER be seen sporting a bruise from an injectable treatment...don’t get injectables.
