BGS Healthcare Ltd is a family run Domiciliary Care company covering the Wiltshire area.
We specialize in care and daily living assistance to an array of individuals living in their own homes. Whether they need daily or weekly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, our Support Workers will provide a personalised care plan that you can trust.
Job Description.
We are looking for new and experienced Support Worker’s to care for our clients across the following areas: Calne, Devizes, Corsham, Chippenham, Melksham, and surrounding village areas. You will be required to provide direct and person-centred support for a range of adults.
Job Responsibilities.
• To assist service users who need help with personal care duties, getting up in the mornings, going to bed, help with dressing & un******ng, washing, bathing, and using the toilet.
• To help service users with mobility issues and other physical disabilities.
• To help care for service users who are at the end of their life.
• To help in the promotion of mental and physical wellbeing of service users.
• To help with light household tasks; making and changing beds, light cleaning of rooms as you use them, helping to keep on top of laundry.
• To prepare food and drinks to our service users.
• To encourage service users to remain as independent as possible.
• Prompt medication and complete accurate medication records.
• To complete accurate daily logs of your visits.
• To undertake required training.
• To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
Job Requirements.
• Previous experience in care is great but it is not essential as full training will be given.
• Must be fully flexible with days worked on a rota basis that includes mornings, lunches, teas and evenings plus every other weekend.
• Must be able to follow a detailed care plan along with completing electronic daily logs on an app that must be downloaded to your phone.
What we offer.
• We employ both walkers and drivers for all areas.
• Great rates of pay: £11 weekdays, £12 weekends and double on Bank Holidays.
• Block pay from the start of your first client to finishing your last (minus breaks of 45 minutes or over).

• Full pay for all inductions, shadowing, team meetings, training, and any ongoing training throughout employment.
• Mandatory online & face to face training provided at start of employment.
• Funded NVQ’s if required.
• Care certificate.
• Telephone support during all care visits.
• Use of company cars for drivers (subject to license requirements) and use of push bikes or electric bikes for walkers if required.
• Assistance to sign up to Blue Light Card discount scheme.
• Employee wellbeing support with Health Assured.
As a company we cover Calne, Chippenham, Devizes, Melksham and Corsham so you may be expected to cover any of these areas as the business needs.
Shifts are between 7am and 10pm on a rota basis, 7 days a week. We are flexible with the number of hours worked as we are looking for both part-time and full-time staff but all employees must work every other weekend.
