As days get brighter, let’s build strength and confidence with gentle lower-body movement ☀️🦵

✨ Your Goal:
Step up and down on a small, stable step 10–15 times, 2–3 times a day, breaking it into small sets for comfort.

💡 Safety first: Make sure the step is secure and hold onto a stable surface for support. Stop and rest if there’s any discomfort or dizziness.

➡️ This simple exercise helps strengthen legs, improve balance, and support easier walking and standing.

When Mrs F first began receiving care, she worried it might mean losing her independence.

We took time to listen and understand what mattered most to her, shaping support around her preferences.

Our care team provides gentle help with tasks she finds more difficult, such as dressing and passing items while she is in the shower. Importantly, Mrs F continues to wash herself, maintaining her independence and routine.

Over time, care has become something that supports—not takes away—her independence.

Now, she feels more confident and at ease in her daily life, knowing support is there when needed.

Dignity, choice, and control remain at the heart of how we provide care in her home.

Right at Home is a global brand but each office is independently owned, meaning someone local to your area is responsible for & passionate about leading a business that delivers outstanding care.

At Right at Home Chippenham we provide person centred support to adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and the mobility restrictions. Our services are highly personalised, yet flexible to meet the needs, choices and outcomes of the people we support, which are build into our personal care plans.

We provide support on a short-term basis ranging from an hourly daily visit through to 24 hour support, seven days a week. Our support focuses on helping clients to meet their personal goals & we take great pride in continually developing our team of amazing Carers.
