A lot of people tell me they do not need more recipes. They just want to feel more confident in the kitchen.
That is exactly what my cookery sessions focus on. Practical skills that make everyday cooking easier and more consistent.
With spring ingredients starting to appear, it is a great time to sharpen the basics.
Message me if you would like details on upcoming sessions.

There is always a noticeable shift in the kitchen as we move toward the end of March.
Meals begin to lighten, cooking times shorten and the ingredients start to do more of the work.
For most of the households I support, this time of year is about refining routines rather than changing everything at once.
Spring menus are now well underway.
If you are thinking about refreshing your weekly food setup, feel free to message me.

With spring getting closer, my diary for private chef work and meal support is starting to fill.
This is usually the time of year when many households begin reviewing their weekly routine and looking to get better structure in place.
If you have been thinking about putting proper food support in place, feel free to message me and we can talk through options.

I’m only running this for a 5 days, and I won’t be offering this experience again this year.

Quick kitchen tip.
If meals are tasting a bit flat, it is rarely the recipe. It usually comes down to seasoning and balance.
Try seasoning a little earlier, tasting as you cook and adding a small touch of acid at the end. It makes a bigger difference than most people expect.
Small changes like this can really lift everyday cooking.

One of the things clients mention most after we start working together is how much calmer their week feels.
When meals are properly planned and prepared, the midweek rush tends to disappear. Fewer last minute decisions and far less reliance on convenience food.
My approach is always to keep things practical and sustainable so the routine actually holds up when life gets busy.
As we head further into spring, many households are reviewing whether their current food setup is really supporting their week.
If you have been thinking about getting some support in place, feel free to message me and we can talk through options.

Most improvements in eating well come from better structure, not more complicated plans.
That is exactly what I help clients put in place week to week.
If your routine feels reactive rather than planned, feel free to message me.

Early March is always a crossover point in the kitchen.
Winter produce starts to phase out and lighter spring ingredients begin to appear.
This is usually when many clients start adjusting weekly menus to reflect the season.

Most of my private chef work is not large one off events.
It is consistent weekly support for households that want food handled properly and routines that actually hold up during busy weeks.
Alongside cooking, a key focus is helping clients build sustainable food habits.
If you have been considering support heading into spring, feel free to message me.

Rugby has given me so much over the years.

But it has also shown me the hardest side of the game.

⬇️

Anyone who knows me well knows rugby is one of my biggest passions… second only to my wife (don’t tell her that though 😂).

If you’ve played the game, you know the toll it can take.
Broken bones. Torn ligaments. Smashed faces. Long rehab.

I’ve been lucky. I’ve always managed to fight my way back and play again.

But many players don’t get that chance.

That’s why this year I’m hoping to head back home, get selected, and represent the Midland Barbarians at Allianz Twickenham — a dream that many players never get to experience.

More importantly, this game supports the incredible work of the RFU Injured Players Foundation, helping players who have suffered serious or life-changing injuries through rugby.

These players gave everything for the game.
Now it’s our turn to support them.

If you can, please get behind the cause and help raise some funds so injured players can also experience the special day at Twickenham.

Every share, comment, and donation helps this reach more people and support an amazing foundation.

Thank you for the support ❤️

Most improvements in home cooking do not come from new recipes.
They come from mastering the basics properly.
That is the focus of my cookery sessions. Practical skills that make everyday cooking easier and more consistent.
