Behind this crazy third-series pose is a rock-solid side plank... 💪

Side plank may look simple, but it teaches everything: how to recruit the transverse abdominis, how the obliques stabilize rotation, how the psoas and glutes work together to create lift, and how the shoulder stabilisers quietly hold the whole structure steady.

Bhairavāsana might be the pose in this video, but the real foundation is years of showing up for that humble side plank - building strength that translates into balance, control, and ease in every direction.

Strong side plank, strong practice. Always.

There’s nothing like coming home to our practice community.

Sunshine poured into the room yesterday for Ashtanga Mysore

I only missed one Wednesday while travelling — but I did miss these beautiful humans and the steady rhythm of our shared practice.

There’s something special about returning to the mat together… the breath, the focus, the quiet smiles, the subtle “we’re all in this” energy.

Thank you for showing up, always.
