Yesterday our group visited the magnificent Temple of Hathor at Dendera, one of the best-preserved sanctuaries in all of Egypt — and a place where beauty, harmony, and cosmic wisdom meet in stone.

Walking beneath ceilings painted with stars and zodiac signs, we felt the presence of ancient artistry that celebrated joy, music, and divine connection. The columns, carved with Hathor’s serene face, seemed to remind us that love, creativity, and renewal are forms of sacred power.

Together we paused in silence beneath the great central hall, feeling how thousands of years dissolve in the stillness of this space. Each of us left carrying something personal — a sense of balance, an open heart, a reminder that beauty is a form of devotion.

Grateful to witness history alive in color, sound, and sunlight.
Grateful to the custodians who keep these places protected.
And grateful for every moment that reconnects us to wonder.

How I am here in front of you today...

I grew up in a small town in Oxfordshire, and although I had a wonderful childhood I always struggled to understand my place in the world. I struggled with identifying who I was and what my place was in the world.

Through my twenties I visited a whole host of different therapists in my struggle to tackle anxiety, OCD and depression. None of these practitioners were able to truly support and empower me to make the shift that I needed. This got me thinking.... if this is something I am struggling with I wonder who else is feeling the same? I felt a real lack of a holistic approach to supporting people not with one aspect of their mental health, but looking at the whole picture - mind, body and spirit. That is when I found Co-Active coaching.

Co-Active coaching, is coaching like no other key principles are built in the fact that there is no “finish line.” We are all on a lifelong leadership journey, and every person’s journey is unique to them. Co-Active is a contextual lens to experience this journey from different orientations. Co-Active helped me to stretch my sightline, get out of my comfort zone, and grow along the way. It helped me to understand my own journey. Through my own personal coaching journey I was able to reconnect with myself - my values, wants and desires. I started to visualise who I was and what I truly wanted out of life.
