We celebrated St Georges at Wansbeck with a fish and chip lunch, home made rice pudding then John Doonan singing who had us all singing and dancing to a variety of songs from 60s and 70s . we also had cakes which some of the ladies decorated for the event.

One of our gents was keen to go on a walk now the weather is getting a little better so our new well being lead went with him on a short walk. they passed the railway line that the new passenger train from Ashington to Newcastle. tommy commented that it had been years since he seen a passenger train and he thoroughly enjoyed his walk

Our Easter party was held last week and we all had a wonderful time with the lovely Stevie Cowans. residents sang and dance and had a really good time. we had residents from all floors joining in. we have more pictures to follow in the next few days. our raffle was drawn and all prizes have been claimed. we raised a wonderful £367 for our resident fund.
