Part 1 We have had a wonderful day for Remembrance day, we observed 2 minutes silence and then had the wonderful John Fletcher entertaining and celebrating with us. the residents enjoyed a varied choice of songs from the past, followed by a fantastic buffet lunch and then a remembrance day quiz which chef Lorraine and resident Margaret won. we took loads of pics so more pics to follow

Does anyone have any photos of veterans, service men or women or photos from life in the war years for our Remembrance display? We will of course return any photos or memorabilia after the 11th.
Everyone is welcome to join us on the 11th Nov from 11am onwards when we are remembering in our own way
We will have our 2 minute silence, a singer and a buffet lunch, Families and friends are very welcome to join us.

Jenny is our very keen gardener and has kept our flowers and plants watered all year, She is very proud of our tomato plants with lovely ripe tomatoes popping up every day despite the winds and storm Amy nearly wrecking or greenhouse. we didn't have much luck with our strawberries but look forward to trying again next year.
