We had a wonderful response to our sprit of Christmas campaign where we ask for gifts for our residents who don't have family or don't have family close by so they have presents to open on Christmas day, as you can see we will have some very happy ladies and gents. Thank you again for all the gifts, we all are touched and overwhelmed by the response, The spirit of Christmas is alive and well this year.

More photos from the Christmas party, staff dressed as Santa, elves, a Christmas cracker and a very pregnant snowman who came in off maternity leave to help out. lots of colourful headbands completed the day and the atmosphere was amazing we drew our raffle prizes with a list available in home of the prize winners. We raised a fantastic £332 for our residents.

Christmas party part 1. lots of fun and laughter for the Christmas party, we had the lovely Darren Foster singing for us, we had our all day Buffett and drinks. we ended the afternoon with the staffs very own version of Last Christmas all in all it was a very good day with residents from all units joining gin the fun

We are all about the Spirit of Christmas this year at Wansbeck and one of our care assistants little boy Theo-George has been hard at work making flowers for our ladies and he came in to give them out. As you can imagine the ladies loved receiving their very own hand made flowers. We reckon Theo - George is going be a charmer when he grows up :)

Our Christmas Party is on the 15th December we have Darren Foster joining us for an afternoon of songs from the 50s,60s and 70s and 80s and I'm sure they ll be some Christmas songs in there as well. we have a buffet tea afterwards. The fun starts at around 1.30 All Welcome to join us on the day.

We had a fabulous afternoon when Northeast producers joined us for their annual panto, this year is was A Christmas Carol and we had a full house and thoroughly enjoyed it. we had a lovely carol sing a long at the end. It was an amazing start to our Christmas festivities at Wansbeck

This Christmas we are collecting thoughtful gifts for our residents who don’t have family members nearby to open on Christmas Morning. You can help by donating a small gift such as socks, toiletries, sweets and small treats into Santa Sleigh ready for the big day, we can wrap any donations we receive.

We're looking for anyone with kids who like to get crafty!

As we get closer to christmas... we think of times of fun & laughter with family & friends.. but not everyone has that.. sooooo iam hoping/asking if a few people off my Facebook with little kiddies would be soo kind to make a few Christmas cards for our lovely little oldies 🥰
Doesn't have to be anything fancy... we appreciate everything! Just to put a little smile on their faces I know they would love it!
