Ribble house enjoyed a nice relaxing movie evening tonight.

They watched Nonna’s, which is based on a true story, whilst enjoying white wine spritzers or boddingtons with lots of lovely snacks to nibble on 🍻🥂

Willow house enjoyed a nice chilled musical evening.

We listened to a variety of music from classic films right through to 80’s hits music 🎵

Most residents sat and sang along but our usual dancers Teresa and Karen danced the night away along with Larry who sang and danced to Dire Straits, Walk of life 🎸

Exotic dancer visits Meadow Bank Care Home, Bamber Bridge

A Bamber Bridge care home resident received a cheeky present last weekend and enjoyed a surprise visit from an exotic dancer.

Appeal.
We have a local family who have tragically lost everything in a house fire. We are running an appeal for donations of clothes, toiletries etc. Full details are in the attached poster. Please no household items. The donation box will be kept in reception and any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Sue’s family wanted to get her something special for Christmas.

They had a very special request which took place on Saturday at Beech House.

Hunter the exotic dancer came and wowed not just Sue, but all the residents and relatives too who wanted to take part.

Sue’s daughter Vicky said “What an amazing experience for mum (and I’m sure other residents and staff!) Plenty of memories made that day with lots of photos and videos to help keep that cheeky glint in mums eye. Thank you to the team at Meadowbank for helping to make it possible”

We had another lovely afternoon on Beech House yesterday!

We sang along to Christmas songs with shandy and mulled wine 🍷 and enjoyed some homemade baileys ice cream 🍨
