I qualified as a 500hr Yoga Teacher through the Mandala Yoga Ashram & BWY in a Satyananda style practice with a strong therapeutic influence in 2013. I have since furthered by teaching qualifications studying Yin combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine 100hr with Josh Summers, Rocket Yoga 50hr and Mandala Yoga 30hr with The Yoga Family as well as Pre & Post Natal Yoga with Baby Massage with Janine Hurley - 100Hr. My weekly class offerings range from Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Yinyasa, Rocket, Mandala, Meditation and Specialist Private Classes, including workshops and annual teacher trainings between all three venues; The Hot Yoga Studio, Trybe Hot Yoga and The Mill Studios Bolton. I also offer a wide range of yoga retreats throughout the year at my Ibiza retreat company Ananda Yoga Retreats Ibiza and the UK. This is the first of three studios that I have opened throughout the North West over the last 5 years. High quality authentic tuition is something I pride myself on throughout all three establishments and you are guaranteed this with whichever teacher or class you attend from our strong, dedicated and inspirational team. We have built an outstanding reputation over the years for providing the finest quality tuition, helping to enhance the lives of our clients both physically, mentally and spiritually. When first discovering yoga, perhaps to get into shape or to de-stress, we tend to guide our attention to the physical practice and the shapes of the body within the poses. As we develop confidence within the postural integration, our body-based experience becomes more joyous and healthy and the postures more fun to inhabit. Following this becomes the inner revolution that yoga can offer, where the deeper aspects of the practice are revealed. The joining of body, heart and mind provides health benefits beyond simply being more flexible or stronger. Yoga re-establishes the balanced integrity of our yin and yang nature. Our Story

I discovered Yoga when I was in Argentina, whilst living in Buenos Aires, managing an African percussion group and Performing Arts School. As a busy working mother with two small children, and little spare time, I found the practice of Yoga helped to bring balance to my hectic life. Having developed my skills through personal practice, and learning first-hand the benefits of Yoga both physically, spiritually and mentally, I discovered that this was my true vocation and returned back to the UK to embark on a three year intensive teacher training course at The Mandala Yoga Ashram. Here my basic knowledge of Yoga was enhanced by the teachings of Swarmi Nischalananda Saraswati, and Swarmi Krishna Premananda, disciples from Swarmi Satyananda Saraswati. I trained in the practice and philosophy of Satyananda Style Yoga, including Asana (poses), Pranayama (breathing), Meditation, and Yoga Nidra. From here I later went on to train as a pregnancy Yoga teacher with Janine Hurley through YogaCampus. Mind and Body Yoga has numerous classes in venues around Chorley, Horwich and Bolton
