Prostate Cancer Checks – Today at Our Community Wellbeing Hub

We’re pleased to be hosting nurse Viv, from the Local Primary Care Team, working alongside Blackburn with Darwen Public Health, at our Community Wellbeing Hub today.

🩺 Men aged 50+ (or those with a close family member who has/has had prostate cancer - dad/brother) can call in anytime before 4pm – no appointment needed – for a simple finger-prick blood test to check PSA levels. Early detection really can save lives.

βœ” Quick and straightforward
βœ” GP referrals made if needed

You can also call in to ask any questions about prostate cancer, signs, symptoms and testing. Head to Car Park B, and enter the Community Wellbeing Hub via the Darwen End.

Tea, coffee and biscuits provided too!
