♻️ We’re Relaunching Our Community Disability Equipment Recycling Scheme! ♻️

We’re delighted to announce the relaunch of our community recycling scheme for disability equipment, proudly run by our amazing Patient Participation Group (PPG) volunteers. 💚

Our Volunteers will be available today from 2 o’clock to take any donations you may have and to provide you with anything you may need. We do have some equipment in stock including walking frames, seat raisers, toilet set raisers, commodes, side tables on wheels. For any specific requests please email our PPG volunteers directly on :

If you have any unwanted disability equipment such as walking frames, walkers, wheelchairs, shower chairs, or other mobility aids—we’d love to give them a new lease of life!

By donating, you’re helping others in our community access much-needed support while reducing waste. 🌍

❗️We have another Flu Clinic this Saturday 1st November between 9am - 12pm. 💉

The flu vaccine is recommended for people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu. 🤧

It's offered on the NHS every year in autumn or early winter. ❄️

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:

✅ are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026)
✅ have certain long-term health conditions
✅ are pregnant
✅ live in a care home
✅ are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance
✅ live with someone who has a weakened immune system
✅ all children aged 2-3 ( school aged children will be offered the vaccine at school )

🌧️💪 A huge thank you to all our wonderful patients who braved Storm Amy this morning to attend our annual Flu Clinic & Coffee Morning! 🧁☕️

We were genuinely blown away (pun intended!) by the incredible turnout, our community is simply the best. 💙

Also a huge thank you to our PPG volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to come along and help! 🙏

Not only did the cakes sell out (they were delicious, after all! 🍰😋), but your generosity and support is truly heartwarming.

Our PPG have been hard at work keeping our new “community wellbeing garden” tidy for our staff and patients. 🌸

Join us for a warm and welcoming Cake and Coffee Morning combined with our Flu Vaccination Clinic! 🌸 ☕🍰
