We had a great day, showing support and raising our awareness, of Children in Need!

Our crafternoon hit the spot, making our own adorable Pudsey Bears from a simple face-cloth!

A huge thanks to staff for wearing their PJ's to work and to Chef Louise for making our delicious Children in Need cup-cakes!

Today we took time to remember those affected by war, with Anna, The Golden Age Songbird.

Her wonderful wartime music and uniform, took us for a stroll down memory lane!

It was a truly meaningful afternoon for our residents and families....

We were honoured to have Father Frances with us on Armistice Day.

He gave residents time to share their memories and remember family members and friends who were affected by war.

Hymns, readings, prayers and wartime poetry, along with a Two Minutes Silence, respectfully commemorated those who lost their lives in service....

Danielle and her Mum Jane, brought the magic today!

Here at Marley we like to give our residents, staff and families an opportunity to share their passions, hobbies and interests.

Today Danielle from our kitchen team brought her Crystal Art to share with us...
And, it was magical!

Danielle told us that the intricate application of each crystal, focuses the mind, and makes this art-form therapeutic!

We are so grateful to Danielle and her Mum, for sharing their wonderland of glistening Art!

Who knows, Danielle may be selling some of her pieces at our Christmas Fayre!? ;)

Today we remember.
On this Remembrance Sunday, we honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all those who have fought for our freedom—past and present.
At 11am, we pause in silence to reflect and give thanks to those who gave so much, so we may live in peace.

We will remember them. ❤️🌺

The True or False quiz had residents thinking hard!

Taking part in the quiz, meant we enjoyed learning new facts about old traditions and events taking place in November!
Who knew, that Purple Poppies are now worn on Remembrance Day, to commemorate the animals that served in wartime!

Great job guys we certainly 'beat the chaser' today!

Caz and Stephanie brought the fun today, from an organisation called RISE!

They did a fantastic job of getting everyone involved in a range of physical games, bringing equipment and trophy cups to make it even more exciting!

We had the best time, thanks to Caz and Stephanie from RISE!

Who knew keeping fit, could be such fun!!

Our Bonfire Night celebrations started with a bang!
Amazing singer Louis, set our hearts on fire, with his incredible vocals, this afternoon!

Our Firework display was next, and residents commented, that it brought back lots of happy memories, as we enjoyed the show with a slice of home-made Parkin!

Today we were absolutely thrilled to help our manager Sally, celebrate her up and coming Birthday!

Well wishers gathered in our main lounge to surprise Sally, with an abundance of beautiful cards, flowers and gifts!

Sally does so much for our Home and since her arrival, we've never had it so good!

A huge thanks to you Sally, from all our residents, families and staff for making Marley Court a very special place!

Our Halloween Party was frighteningly good!

We were delighted to have Anna the Golden Age Songbird, in her vintage Halloween dress, singing some Halloween 'must haves' along with classic rock and roll hits!

So many of our wonderful families joined us, and this included our young volunteer Georgia who served food and drinks and, also from Joe's family, Susan, who hand-crafted our stunning Halloween cake!

We all had a boo-tiful time!

A huge thanks to chef John for the fang-tastic Halloween cupcakes, and of course to the wonderful Anna!
