In the cheery town of Chorley, Lancashire, Marley Court Nursing & Residential Home is a 46-room home that houses elderly residents along with younger adults with a range of needs, providing nursing and personal care.

Our Christmas Crafternoon had our residents full of creativity!

Residents carefully positioned each of the petals and used coloured glitters, making a beautiful Pointsettia design!

Well done everyone involved!

Our Advent Church Service marks the preparation and expectation leading up to Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ!

Today Father Francis prepared us for this special time, with Advent hymns, readings and prayers!

A huge thanks to Father Francis for the wonderful work he does for residents and their families, in our home!

This wonderful service will help us to focus on hope, peace, joy and love, as we countdown to Christmas Day!

We broke the record and some!!!

A whopping £751 was made at this year's Christmas Fayre!

A huge thanks to everyone who supported the Fayre, including our residents, families, and staff!

It's only by working together, we managed to raise this incredible sum.

All money raised will go towards The Residents' Activity Fund and will help to improve quality of life for all our residents!

The main Raffle is still open until the 11th December, when it will be drawn by the Woodlands Day Nursery team!

Our Christmas Fayre was just amazing!

We love it when our residents, families and staff come together to celebrate!

Singer Becky set the tone and we enjoyed every minute!

A huge thanks to everyone involved for all your hard work in making this event really special, including Matty, Susan, Danielle and her family, Anne and Joe and their family, Naveen, Jane and of course Sally!

Our main Raffle will be drawn on the 11th with the Woodland's Nursery Team!

We were spellbound by Robin's gentle and melodic tones!

Robin and his lovely wife Kathleen provided a truly magical afternoon for our residents and their families!

Everyone sang and swayed along, and Robin helped us reminisce by giving us lots of interesting information about each song!

Our sincere thanks and best wishes goes out to Robin and Kathleen!

Our afternoon sparkled, when Holy Cross Catholic High School came to entertain!

Karen the Choir Leader, supported the students to create a glorious sound, and it was clear they had been working hard, rehersing.

At the end of the performance, our spirits were raised and our hearts were filled with Christmas cheer!

A huge thanks goes out to Karen and the choir for sharing their wonderful talent with our home!

Everyone remarked that the students were a credit to the school!
