We were buzzing with festive cheer recently as we welcomed 14 children from Somerford Primary School for a Christmas celebration 🎄✨

The afternoon was packed with fun — from Christmas music statues and pin the nose on the reindeer, to a playful pass-the-parcel.

Our chefs treated everyone to a spread of Christmas favourites, with homemade chocolate cake proving a big hit. But the highlight was a surprise visit from Father Christmas himself — resident Bruce in his festive red suit — delighting the children as they shared their wishes and received festive treat bags 🎁

We can’t wait to welcome them back for their summer party next year!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon celebrating Colten Care’s win at the 2025 National Care Awards, where we were named Care Home Group (Medium Size) of the Year 🏆

Festivities included a delicious homemade cake, lovingly prepared by our chef, and a relaxed soiree. It was a joyous moment to reflect on the dedication, care, and warmth that our teams bring to every day, and to share in the excitement of this national recognition.
