Here at Stour Chiropractic Clinic, we like to keep things simple and we trust you are here because you already know a little about chiropractic and its possible benefits. We are a friendly, family run chiropractic clinic established for over 10 years, conveniently located close to the centre of Christchurch

We pride ourselves in doing our utmost to get you back to good health and out of pain as soon as we possibly can. We do not expect you to sign up for dozens of treatments as we don’t expect your course of treatment to last that long. At Stour Chiropractic Clinic as well as traditional chiropractic methods, we also use a variety of techniques including some very gentle methods that do not require physical manipulation. Whatever your age, size or profession, your body will do its utmost to keep you fit and operational. Sometimes, however, your body needs a helping hand to enable it to do its job. Whether it is back pain, shoulder pain, knee, elbow or joint pain in general, this pain is the body’s way of letting you know that something is wrong and should not be ignored. Your chiropractor is trained in finding and treating the cause of the pain at source.

Thank you!

Over the past week, with the Bypass closure and all that, Christchurch has become a little bit of a 'no-go' area for many.

We'd like to say thank you to all our patients who braved the traffic disruption in order to attend appointments - it really does make a big difference to us as a small, independent, health-care business like ourselves.

The Clinic has had a bit of a much needed spruce up.

Our new window sticker should relate to those who, while needing our chiropractic care, do not want to be tied-up and locked-in to months of treatment and a payment plan.

If you'd prefer, we offer a 'getting to know you' free of charge appointment before you decide whether we're right for you (just 15 minutes).

If we are right for you and we are able to help, as a new patient you will always be given a treatment on your FIRST visit at no extra cost - our new patient charge is our new patient charge - no hidden extras.

Dr Toby Annett, DC MChiro

We are very happy to announce that Dr Toby Annett, DC will be joining the Stour Chiropractic Clinic team.

We welcome Toby, who is a life-long local who has a keen interest all things sport.

He enjoys working with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and has a particular interest in helping patients return to the activities they love. During his studies, Toby completed a 10-week sports placement, gaining valuable experience in supporting athletes with injury recovery, performance, and long-term function.

Toby tailors his care to each individual and incorporates a variety of techniques into his treatments, including:

Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT)
Muscle Release Therapy (MRT)
Post-Isometric Relaxation (PIR)
Soft Tissue Therapy

As Ellen sadly left us at the end of August, there are big shoes to fill and we trust that Toby is the one who can do this.

Toby is offering all of our existing patients, a 20 minutes, free of charge, ‘getting to know you’, consultation so that together, you can find out what works best for you – please get in touch and call reception on 01202 484164 to make your appointment.
