We were so grateful to receive beautiful flower donations from relatives in celebration of Valentine’s Day 💐❤️ The thoughtful gesture brightened our home and brought smiles to everyone’s faces 😊

Residents loved spending time together arranging the flowers into lovely displays, choosing colours, and creating stunning bouquets 🌷✨ The activity sparked creativity, conversation, and plenty of laughter 😄💛 Alongside the flower arranging, residents also enjoyed making heartfelt Valentine’s cards for their loved ones 💌✍️, adding personal messages and decorations. It was a truly special day, filled with kindness, creativity, and a wonderful sense of community 🫶

We had a wonderful Caribbean Day celebration at the care home, with families, staff, and residents all coming together for a truly special occasion 🌴🎶 The home was filled with vibrant colours, great music, and the warm spirit of the Caribbean 🌺✨

Everyone enjoyed delicious Caribbean dishes packed with rich flavours and traditional favourites 🍛🍍, along with refreshing mocktails for a tropical touch 🍹😄 With laughter, smiles, and stories shared throughout the day, it was a fantastic celebration that brought everyone together and created lovely memories we’ll cherish 💛

Our interactive tablet is helping residents stay mentally active and socially connected 💬🧠.

Easy to use and designed with residents in mind, it offers games, music and reminiscence activities, as well as video calls with family and friends 📱.

By supporting independence and meaningful connection, it’s a great example of how technology can enhance wellbeing through person-centred care ✨.

After 12 wonderful years as Activities Coordinator Lead at Paternoster, Sharon is moving on to a new chapter at The Lakes as an Activities Coordinator.

Sharon has been a huge part of our family and words hardly capture how much she means to us. She will be deeply missed by residents, staff, relatives, volunteers, friends, and the wider community. We love her very much and wish her every happiness in her next role 💙

Our Christmas Party was a truly wonderful celebration 🎄✨

Residents were joined by relatives, staff and volunteers for a festive afternoon filled with music, smiles and seasonal cheer. A big thank you to Tony, who kept everyone entertained with fantastic live singing 🎶

We were also delighted to welcome children from Tiny Tots, Mighty Oaks Holiday Club and KeySteps, whose visit brought extra joy and laughter to the home ❤️

A lovely celebration bringing generations together - thank you to everyone who helped make it so special.
