Today our Nikki is at Essex University, with Ian from Parkinson's UK, at their community event for people living with Parkinson's and their loved ones.

An amazing event with a whole host of guest speakers including Doctors, Professors and Parkinson's Research.

Are you able to help the Young Minds Dementia Group are looking for some entertainment for 1 hour on Thursday 21st May at 2:30 - 3:30 for a dementia awareness event we are holding in the stroke & wellness centre Holland on sea.

Join us at the Walton Family Fun Day on Saturday 28th March for our Easter colouring competition, with a chance to win a yummy Easter egg! 🍫✨

We have categories for ages:
2–3 | 4–5 | 6–7 | 8–9 | 10–12

🏆 One first prize Easter egg for each age group!

How to take part:
🖍️ Print the picture (A4) and bring it along to the Access Dignity Care stand
📍 Collect a sheet from Walton Community Hub
🎨 Or come along on the day and create your masterpiece at our stand!

Winners will be announced on Monday 30th March.

We can’t wait to see all your colourful creations! 🌈🐰

🏆 Our awards continued yesterday and we are so very proud of these guys for their amazing achievements…

🏆 Umar won the award of “Carers Carer” which is chosen by nominations from all of the carers. There was a resounding theme in the nominations that Umars colleagues thoroughly enjoy working with him and that his happy nature made them smile. Well done Umar! 💜💚

🏆 Our biggest award for “Carer of the year” was very rightfully given to the amazing Humza. Where to start with our praise for such an amazing carer. Humza is truly an absolute asset to us. The feedback from service users, fellow colleague and external professionals is noting but outstanding. Humza you are one in a million and you are so very lucky to have you 💜💚
