Our name in lights!

This season we are teaming up with Sheffield United as an official sponsor!

To support in the national recruitment crisis for social care, we are trying a new initiative to increase brand awareness and support our recruitment campaign.

Our brand and logo will appear in match day programs, along the mid tier at Bramhall Lane and on the big screen for the whole season, including league and cup games.
Along with brand appearance we are also proudly sponsoring Tommy Doyle who is on loan to Sheffield United from Manchester City for the season.

Team Lead - Cleckheaton

Valorum care are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to supervise & deploy staff within their allocated team, ensuring the provision of care, personal support, daily living tasks & activities.

We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long term neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, head/brain injury, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida & hydrocephalus, huntington’s disease, spinal injuries and stroke

Salary - £10.81

Hours – Full time

Who were looking for:

Our Team Leader must be kind, compassionate and genuinely enthusiastic about the care and wellbeing of our service users
Our Team Lead must be confident in managing a care team.
Our Team Lead must be reliable and flexible.
2/3 years previous care experience
NVQ qualified to level 3
What we offer you:

Paid training and shadowing
Access to funding for NVQ qualifications
Guaranteed hours contract available
12 hour shifts 8-8
All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), as well as satisfactory referencing.

Kenmore held their very own Paralympics yesterday to celebrate the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Gareth the activities coordinator organised the event and people competed in the following sports:

- Boxing
- Basketball
- Curling
- Shot put
- Bean bag hoopla
- 100m sprint

There was an award ceremony at the end where medals were given out and everyone joined in singing the national anthem.

Here is what some of the staff and people we support had to say about the day:

"The day was thoroughly enjoyed by people we support and staff, there was lots of fun laughter and singing of the national anthem. It was emotional for some with tears during the national anthems and medal presentations."
