IPRF Hair Treatment
iPRF (injectable platelet-rich fibrin) hair treatment is a non-surgical procedure that uses the patient's own blood to stimulate hair growth. It involves drawing blood, centrifuging it to concentrate platelets and growth factors, and then injecting this into the scalp to rejuvenate hair follicles and encourage new, thicker hair growth.
This method can help with recent hair loss where follicles are still present but dormant it’s also recommended for patients that have had a recent hair transplant, and results can often be seen in 2-3 months, with more noticeable improvements over 6-12 months.
How it works
Injection: The iPRF is then injected into the thinning areas of the scalp.
Growth stimulation: The injected growth factors stimulate the hair follicles, increase blood supply to the area, and promote tissue regeneration.
Benefits
Stimulates new hair growth and thickens existing hair.
Activates dormant hair follicles.
Is a natural treatment because it uses the patient's own blood, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions.
Slows hair loss.
Provides long-lasting results.
What to expect
Procedure: The iPRF is injected into the scalp using a fine needle.
Sessions: A series of treatments, often 3-4 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart, is generally recommended for optimal results. Maintenance treatments may be needed every 6-12 months.
