This presentation will explore how to quickly identify whether postural issues are contributing to common neck and shoulder tension, and what you can do about it in clinic.

Youโ€™ll leave with a clearer framework for selecting treatment, plus a few simple movement patterns and corrective postures clients can practise immediately to restore better function.

Tea or coffee can count towards our fluid intake.

The The British Nutrition Foundation states:
However, the caffeine found in tea and coffee can make us produce more urine but drinking moderate amounts doesn't seem to affect our hydration. Herbal or caffeine free alternatives also count towards our fluid intake. To make it a healthier choice, try not to add sugar to your tea and coffee.

Pregnant women are advised to consume no more than 200mg of caffeine a day.

Total daily fluid intake include both food and liquid.

In 2010 the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a Scientific Opinion on dietary reference values (DRVs) for water. These DRVs differ somewhat from UK recommendations (although it should be noted they include fluid from both foods and drinks โ€“ EFSA assumes that 20% of fluid intake comes from food and 80% from drinks).

Adult and adolescent females aged 14 years and over 2.0L/day
